50 Cent on G-Unit: "I'm Tired of Carrying Them Around — My Back Hurts"

50 Cent appeared on a recent episode of The Breakfast Club where he shared how he feels about his former clique G-Unit, and the chances of a reunion. When asked if reunions and documentaries are in the works, 50 said don't hold your breath.

"I probably won't do a project with them," he said. "I'm tired of carrying them around, my back hurts."

G-Unit member Lloyd Banks recently dropped his latest full-length offering, The Course of The Inevitable and Tony Yayo has been spotted on tour with 50, prompting many to believe that a reunion could possibly be on the horizon. 50 made it clear that nothing could be further from reality, and he explained that Tony Yayo has a different relationship with him than the other members.

"Yayo, he's a different animal," 50 said. "If he does something wrong no matter what the magnitude of it, he says, 'My bad.' Banks and these other guys came in by way of him, and they have a different temperament."

50 Cent has been quite busy in the world of television as of late, and had put music on the back burner. However, during an interview with The Independent earlier this year, 50 revealed his plans to drop new music in September.

“I’m not gonna tell who’s on it because I’m the most exciting person [on the album],” he said, before confirming the project would not be his oft-delayed Street King Immortal album. “That original version is not [being released],” he said. "I still love music, I still wanna make music. A lotta times I give my ideas to the young cats who are around and tell them how to do it."

50 has said that his next album will likely be his last.
