Diddy responded to Freddy P of Da’ Band and MTV’s and Puffy’s Making The Band with a post on his Instagram page: “Stop all your crying, bitching and moaning. Hustle harder or get the f*ck out the way. -Love.”

Freddy P posted a 14-minute video last week to his Instagram account where he called put Young Berg, Rick Ross, DJ Khaled and Diddy. “Diddy is the main reason I hate life” Freddy said. He criticized the other Florida artists for not reaching out and “throwing the ladder back down” after they obtained success allegedly because of what Freddy did many years ago.

Social media users have been posting old clips of Making The Band, the early 2000’s reality show where musicians competed for a recording contract with Puffy’s Bad Boy Records. Willie Taylor of Day 26 (an R&B group from Making The Band 4, signed by Puffy in 2007) recently claimed that Diddy takes advantage of young talent.

In a since deleted IG post Freddy claimed that the contracts from Making The Band were “set up for failure.” Babs Bunny, Freddy’s group mate in Da’ Band told MRECKTV in response to Freddy’s claims “A lot of the stuff I agree with him on. A lot I can’t really relate to, you know what I mean? Each of us had our own situation when we left Bad Boy. We all went through the same process, we all had the same contracts, we all were on the same stage. At the end of the day we all had the same situation happen as far as when it comes down to business.” Babs described the opportunity as “A dream come true, with nightmares in and out.”
