The legendary DJ Shortkut of The Invisibl Skratch Piklz has been receiving an outpouring of support from the Hip-Hop community and his fellow DJ's after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke last month. According to a GoFundMe set up by his manager, the stroke left him with multiple medical complications including speech, vision and cognitive difficulties, and paralysis.

The stroke occurred only two days after he performed for a crowd of over 17,000 at the Hollywood Bowl with The Roots and Queen Latifah. According to GoFundMe, the account has exceeded its goal of $60,000, raising over $160,000 to cover his medical expenses. Lets hope for a full recovery for DJ Shortkut!
