Drake Passes Eminem As Highest-Selling Singles Artist in History

Drake just hit another milestone in his career, this time passing Eminem to become the highest certified singles artist in RIAA history.

The Toronto rapper has earned 10 new plaques from the RIAA bringing his total to a whopping 184 million singles sold. Previously, Em held the title at 166 million units for his singles catalog.

Drake also became only the third act in history to have at least five diamond singles (Bruno Mars has six and Post Malone has five).

He's also very close to breaking the record for the highest certified RIAA song, which is currently held by Post Malone and Swae Lee for "Sunflower" and Lil Nas X for "Old Town Road" — both of those tracks are 17x platinum.  The song that just might do it is from Drake's 2018 release Scorpion, "God's Plan." It's currently at 15x platinum, making it the biggest-selling single in his catalog.
