Just before Digable Planets took the stage at the 2022 Rock The Bells, RTB caught up with Ish aka Butterfly of the iconic alt-rap trio and talked about why he was eager to rock this particular festival.

"The accomplishment, the imagination, the vision, and the participation and the passion to make something like this a reality is awesome," Ish told RTB. "To be a part of it is like a dream come true, as well. It's a fly, fly, fly day—a fly event. It's history."

"You can tell by the way that it's being done that this is a springboard for more stuff to keep going on and on and branching out in different ways," he added. "Hip-Hop is alive and well. And to be here in Queens, too? It's real heavy."
