In a clip from Rap City, Lil Kim praised Cardi B, explaining that fans may not know it, but the two women are very close.

"Cardi is like the love of my life, y’all don’t even know," she said in an interview with Big Tigger. "We talk a lot. People have no idea. … She’s my little sister but she’s really my big little sister. It’s facts."

Of course, this isn't the first time Kim has publicly shown love to Cardi. In a 2018 interview with Entertainment Tonight, she also explained how proud she is of her rise to fame. “You know, Cardi is my girl! I don’t know the other one,” Kim said, slighting Nicki Minaj. "But Cardi is my girl and so I’m so excited for my girl Cardi... I love you, Cardi!”

Aside from dishing on her appreciation for Cardi, Kim has also shown love for Megan Thee Stallion, teasing a collaboration. Most recently, Kim hit the stage at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards. She also rocked at the Rock The Bells Festival the past August in Queens.
