On Wednesday night, LL COOL J helped President Biden and the First Lady light the towering National Christmas Tree near the White House. During an interview, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer was asked about his favorite Christmas song. Not surprisingly, he — like hundreds of millions of others — pointed to Mariah Carey's "All I want For Christmas Is You."

"I would be lying if I didn't tell you I had that Mariah Carey album on repeat," he said. "I'm one of her victims. I've been listening to that joint for years."

Not to let an opportunity to praise the icons of Hip-Hop pass by, LL COOL J also pointed to "Christmas in Hollis" by Run-DMC.

While Mariah Carey ultimately lost her trademark filing as the "Queen of Christmas," the staying power of her 1994 song is quite incredible. Not surprisingly, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is number one on the Billboard Holiday charts — having spent 52 week at the top.
