Fans are awaiting Martin: The Reunion with bated breath. The special is airing on BET+ on June 16, and the network has released the official trailer. The television event sees the surviving members of the beloved sitcom reuniting on the show's famous set to revisit their time on the hit series, which ran for five seasons from 1992 to 1997.

Thomas Mikal Ford, who played Tommy in the series, died in 2016; the trailer opens with a dedication to the late actor.

Several special guests are slated to appear on the reunion; including Snoop Dogg and Tommy Davidson, stars who guested during the show's original run.

On the show, Lawrence starred as Martin Payne, the titular character and a local DJ in Detroit; Tisha Campbell co-starred as his girlfriend-then-wife Gina, Tichina Arnold as Gina’s best friend Pam, and Carl Anthony Payne II who plays Martin’s buddy Cole. Ford was Martin's other best friend, the perpetually unemployed (or was he?) Tommy.

Several notable Hip-Hop stars appeared on Martin during it's run on FOX in the 1990s; The Notorious B.I.G., Kid of Kid 'N Play, OutKast, Heavy D, Tone Loc, Method Man and Bushwick Bill were among the rappers who showed up on the series during it's run.
