The Notorious B.I.G.’s Estate has announced a super deluxe box set for the 25th anniversary of his sophomore album Life After Death according to Complex. The album will be released on June 10th through Rhino, Bad Boy and Atlantic Records. The box set includes the original album and 12-inch single releases of “Hypnotize”, “Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems”, “Sky’s The Limit” and “Nasty Boy.” There is also a commemorative booklet with never before seen photos, liner notes by Sheldon Pearce and commentary from team members who worked on the album included in the box set.

The Notorious B.I.G. would have turned 50 years old this year, and the box set is part of a larger celebration in honor of the milestone. The year-long campaign is called “Sky’s the Limit: A Year Celebrating the Legacy of the Notorious B.I.G.” 4k upgrades of all of Biggie’s videos, an enhanced digital version of Life After Death and more surprises are planned as part of the campaign.

In 2020 The Notorious B.I.G was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the documentary Biggie: I Got A Story to Tell debuted on Netflix last year.
