The song, which was produced by Lil Jon, was featured on Usher's monster album, Confessions. It was only replaced on the top of the charts by Usher's follow-up single, "Burn." The track went on to win Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the Grammys and was nominated for Record of the Year.
In a 2004 interview, Usher talked about his work ethic, and how it led to his massive success, decades after he first entered the business when he was just a teenager.
"It's not just about a hit record, it's not just the marketing behind an album, it's about the talent, and I go out there and I work hard," he said. "No one can just take your spot. If you really work hard, no one can take your spot."
