Snoop Dogg is set to be one of the final Olympic flame torchbearers ahead of the Opening Ceremony in Paris on Friday. Snoop will carry the torch through the Saint-Denis neighborhood, according to Mathieu Hanotin, the town's mayor. According to Hanotin, Saint-Denis is the final stop of the Olympic flame's journey before it reaches the Eiffel Tower.

"I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris," Snoop said in a statement in December. "It's a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness," he said further. According to event organizers, Snoop will give "regular reports" and "explore the city's iconic landmarks".
