Clocking in at over 45 minutes, Spit Or Quit Volume 1 honors the memory of the late DJ Kay Slay, who launched his Rollin' 25 Deep which featured 25 MC's in 2005. The project, executive produced by Van Silk and Nero features 50 MC's representing various era's and regions. From Ice T, Rass Kass, and Treach of Naughty By Nature to The Mercedes Ladies, Johnny Wa & Rayvon, and Waterbed Kev and Master Rob of The Fantastic 5, the featured artists span just about every era of recorded rap.

This new installment follows 2005's Rolling 25 Deep, 2020's Rolling 50 Deep, 2021's Rolling 110 Deep, and last year's Rolling 200 Deep, which featured first generation legends such as MC Sha Rock, Grandmaster Melle Mel, MC. G.L.O.B.E., Grandmaster Caz, and Coke La Rock, and later legends like Run and DMC, Big Daddy Kane, Snoop Dogg, Ice-T, The Original Spinderella, DJ Doo Wop, Kid Capri, and many, many more. Spit Or Quit executive producer Van Silk tells Rock The Bells that Spit Or Quit Volume 2 drops 9/8.
