In a scene from The D.O.C.'s upcoming documentary titled THE DOC, Eminem who appears in the film praises D.O.C.'s lyrics from "Mind Blowin," a single from the classic and critically acclaimed album No One Can Do It Better. Em gets to a point in the verse where he can't understand D.O.C.'s triplet style wordplay. Em calls D.O.C. over to decipher the lyric: "The DOC is dope I would've been down wit rock but I'd be broke for the punk, I'm opening up my trunk, to reveal death living it up my life is like a story yelling it, 'cause nobody else is telling it checkin it, always getting paid 'cause the rap is sort of like a twist between what you needed and what I mean by twist....wait I need him" Em says. "I gotta ask him what he says on this one part - I never understood it."

D.O.C emerges and spits: "Never a segment is negative because I'm employin' what you've been missin'" Em sits in amazement at how the those words fit into the rhyme. In the clip there is an obvious respect for The D.O.C. as well as a satisfaction (by the D.O.C.) that Em knows his rhyme after more than three decades.

THE DOC director Dave Caplan's directorial debut is described as, "A love letter and inspirational Hip-Hop archive about a master of the art who is likely your favorite rappers rapper." THE DOC premieres on June 10 at the Beacon Theatre with performances by DJ Quik, Xzibit, Daz, Kurupt and other special guests.
