The world has been up-in-arms about the record-breaking high gas prices that have skyrocketed in recent weeks. It appears that some of our favorite rappers are taking issue with the expensive gas prices as well, gangsta rap legend and Law and Order: SVU star Ice-T, took to Twitter to share his experience as he was “robbed” by a New Jersey gas pump.

“I was robbed at a gas station in NJ last night,” Ice-T tweeted. “After my hands stopped trembling..I managed to call the cops, and they were quick to respond and calmed me down..... My money is gone.. the police asked me if I knew who did it..I said yes.. it was pump number 9…”

"My money is gone.. the police asked me if I knew who did it..I said yes.. it was pump number 9…," the tweet continues.

According to AAA, the average price of gas in the U.S. right now is $4.24. Alabama remains below the national average at $4.02  and $6.01 in Ice-T's home state of California. As of last week, according to Barrons, the price of oil increased again after supply concerns in the wake of bans on Russian imported oil in response to the conflict in Ukraine.
