Snippets of Gayle King's three-hour sit-down with Jay-Z have been shared on CBS Mornings but the entire interview is set to begin streaming tonight on Paramount+.

The 24-time Grammy-winning artist and business mogul will offer an in-depth glimpse into his life and philosophy. “He’s more than a musician, he’s a mogul,” King said in a press release. “He’s more than a rapper, he’s a visionary.”

In previously shared snippets from the conversation, Jay spoke about the vulnerability involved with being on the world stage.

"My truth is constantly learning and evolving and being ok with that," he explained. "It's hard sometimes learning in front of people, because the mistakes that you are making are being made in front of the world, and being that vulnerable is not an easy thing." When asked if he was afraid to be vulnerable he replied: "I made 4:44, I'm not afraid to be vulnerable."

He also settled the years-long debate that posed the hypothetical question: Would you take $500,000 in cash or have lunch with Jay-Z instead?

“You’ve gotta take the money," Jay-Z said in a recent interview with CBS Mornings host Gayle King, because, duh.

When King expressed surprise, assuming there's a lot of wisdom that the billionaire businessman could share, Jay said if you want to soak up game, just buy his albums.

“You’ve got all that in the music for $10.99,” Jay-Z said. “That’s a bad deal. I wouldn’t tell you to cut a bad deal.” He went on to elaborate on his "take the money" stance. “It’s all there. If you piece it together and listen to the music for the words, well, what it is, it’s all there," he said. “Everything that I said was going to happen, happened. Everything I said I wanted to do, I’ve done.”
